Smashing Valentine 2012 - the SMART edition
The Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) named the Eindhoven Region of the Netherlands as the world's Intelligent Community of the Year 2011 during its annual awards ceremony at Steiner Film Studios in Brooklyn, New York (USA). The goal of the awards is to increase awareness of the role that broadband communications and information access technologies play in shaping the economic and social development of communities worldwide.

The registration for Smashing Valentine is closed. Any new entries will be placed on a waiting list
The tournament will be held from Friday 10th untill Sunday February 12th 2012. Please note that men's singles (except Open) will start on Thursday February 9th from 12AM on.
All matches will be best of three sets; though a match tie break (till 10 points) will be played in lieu of a third set in all events (also singles), but as usual we offer consolation in all events !!!

Smashing valentine is an indoor tennis tournament. Approx. 250 gay, lesbian, straight, bisexuals and transgender players from the Netherlands, Europa and abroad participate. The tournament is part of the international Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance tour and will be organized for the 8th time in 2012.
